Abstract

The Journal of Research on Christian Education (JRCE) is an international vehicle for sharing research findings at every level of Christian education, with a particular emphasis on Protestant Christian schooling. JRCE also seeks to provide a forum for promoting inter-faith understandings and collaboration within the broad field of faith-based education by publishing studies from diverse faith-based education communities. The primary purposes of the JRCE are (1) to promote and advance inquiry by scholars of Christian education, (2) to serve as a clearinghouse for the organization and diffusion of research on Christian education, and (3) to communicate research findings that inform and benefit Christian education and the wider society.
