Using Mixed-Data Research Design to Maximize the Impact of Findings

Abstract

The purpose of this presentation is to assist participants in developing studies with balanced interpretive power and generalizability. Through slide presentations and group discussions, presenters will share their experience of using mixed-data approaches in designing and implementing a multisite, large-scale, multi-level physical education curriculum intervention study and lead participants to develop a research design/plan of their own using a generalizable mixed-data research approach.
