Abstract

This paper describes findings from a multi-year mixed-methods evaluation study that aimed to understand an active learning (AL) project from the perspectives of multiple stakeholders. We seek to expose a deeper truth about the project by using both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data from various sources. Specifically, we triangulate data from years of course observations, instructor and student surveys, and learning artifacts to better understand how funding AL post-doctorate fellows influenced learning environments.
