This study challenges the field of higher education to re/vision radically inclusive organizational frameworks that speak to the unique racial identity development needs of a diversifying student body. Using an instrumental case study, researchers explore how Title V sociolegal pressures influence how emerging Hispanic Serving-HBCUs engage in radically inclusive racial identity development. Additionally, the study advances Afro-latinidades as a radically inclusive organizational framework that serves the unique racial identity development needs of both Black and Latinx constituents. This organizational framework shows great promise in protecting sacred spaces of colonized peoples by honoring the institutions (HBCUs) that preserve cultural ways of knowing and being.
