Abstract

"This research-in-progress presentation is part of a larger study that aims to synthesize the existing research on in-service teachers' digital competence over the last ten years in the context of K-12 education. In this presentation, I will focus on the research purposes of the studies included in this review. Through three databases, Web of Science, ERIC, and Education Source, a total of 33 studies were identified as eligible to be included. I categorized the research purposes into four themes: level of digital competence, factors affecting it, both level and factors, and needs.
