The proposed research aims to gain deeper insights into the TANGO2 condition through qualitative interviews with parents of children with this rare genetic disorder. The primary research question is how parents' expertise can foster collaborative teamwork with educators to support students with TANGO2. Preliminary findings reveal students' wishes for acceptance, the need for appropriate challenges, the importance of effective communication between educators and parents, and understanding students' health needs. These insights emphasize creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment to enhance student well-being and academic success. Understanding how to effectively teach and support these students holds significance for educators, contributing to evidence-based interventions and promoting collaboration between parents and educators.
