Abstract

This longitudinal study sought to examine factors influencing two important student development outcomes in students with disabilities. Informed by Astin’s Input-Environment-Outcome model and the interactional model of disability, this study found faculty’s interaction with students with disabilities could not only enhance students’ confidence, but could also promote their leadership skills.
