Abstract

Michelle D. Young, PhD, is dean and professor of Berkeley School of Education. She has also served as executive director of the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA), a national consortium of higher education institutions focused on educational leadership. Young has co-edited or co-authored 11 books and has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and will speak to how others can similarly contribute to the field through research and administrative roles in higher education.
