 This topic focuses on transformative educational spaces, particularly the contributions of Black women scholars and highlights the critiques of traditional educational frameworks and advocates for inclusivity, empowerment, and social justice. The papers explore the lived experiences of Black women in academia, emphasizing the intersection of hip hop and feminist theory as a tool for resistance and reflection. By examining narratives that challenge systemic injustices, this theme underscores the importance of incorporating diverse voices and perspectives in the quest for educational equity.
