This study explores the influence of students manipulate instructional model on three-view drawing learning. A total of 93 participants were recruited, and randomly assigned them to the manipulate concrete model (MCM) condition, the manipulate virtual model (MVM) condition and the no manipulate model (NMM) condition. Dependent variables include learning outcomes (number of lines drawn correctly), body-task correlation, degree of body movement, and cognitive load. The results showed that both the MCM condition and the MVM condition can improve learning outcomes, but there is no difference between the MCM condition and the MVM condition. And Students perceive higher body-task correlation in the MCM condition than in the MVM condition. Research supported the effectiveness of learning by enacting.
