Abstract

Both risk and protective factors are of interest when it comes to considering the high turnover rates within the field of education. This cross-sectional study utilized questionnaire data to investigate current stress and resilience scores of college students in teacher education programs at two universities. Overall, students reported high stress; elementary majors had the highest stress scores. The lowest stress and highest resilience were reported by physical education teacher education majors.
