This preliminary study extends our previous work of analyzing moments of support between teachers and students in a collaborative classroom using the MOSAIC (Moment of Support Analysis in Collaboration) protocol. Our paper describes a pilot lab study, where we applied MOSAIC to explore moments of support between a collaborative group and an educational expert serving as a Wizard-of-Oz (WoZ) collaborative agent. We also discuss our adaptations to this protocol to better understand student-AI interactions.
