This proposal seeks to honor the legacy and significant contributions of Luis C. Moll to the field of educational research. Through an exploration of his ideas and seminal work on funds of knowledge, his interpretation of Lev Vygotsky's theories, collaborative engagements, and his transformative impact on educational equity, this session highlights how Luis C. Moll’s research has shaped contemporary educational practices and policies. And continues to inform groundbreaking research on students’ identities and academic and occupational trajectories.
