Abstract

Stakeholders of education have been forced to address the mental health needs of students as a result of stressors brought on by the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this paper is to explore pre-service educators and counselors' experiences as they participate in a workshop model to support their understanding of hip-hop based approaches to addressing mental health in the classroom.
