To analyze women faculty’s experiences with workplace bullying at HBCUs, this research which applies Acker’s gendered organization theory, uses a sample of 162 women faculty from 45 HBCUs to address the following research question: RQ1 What is the relationship between the intensity of workplace bullying and time spent strategizing against bullying, health problems, and organizational distrust for HBCU women faculty? I used a multiple regression to confirm a direct and statistically significant level (p< .01) that the intensity of workplace bullying is directly related to the dependent variables. The findings confirm that HBCUs should adopt structural changes to grant women more power in the organization, thus allowing women to shift the gendered organization to be more inclusive of women.
