Identity Development and Student Experience: Queer Latinx Men at Hispanic-Serving Institutions

Abstract

This study examined the experiences of queer Latinx men at Hispanic Serving Institutions, specifically how the intersecting identities of sexuality, race, and gender impact their campus experiences. Findings indicate queer Latinx men face concerns of safety based on their identities, difficulties navigating masculinity, and a desire to engage in dialog.
