This lecture will examine the attitude of the Revisionist organizations towards Jerusalem during 1948 -1951. As a political right wing entity that believed in the 'wholeness of the Land of Israel on both side of the Jorden river', it seemed that their approach could not be anything but opposing the United Nation resolution 181.This approach was accompanied by the demand for a declaration of the new State of Israel that Jerusalem should be and must be the capital of Israel. This theoretically belief seemed to be shared by all the Revisionist fractions and their successors. Even though, except radical announcement, their leaders did nothing to point out their active commitment to their Ideology concerning Jerusalem. For example, all of their party's institutions were established in Tel Aviv and were situated there. All of their conventions took place at Tel Aviv or other cities but not at Jerusalem, despite strong demanded of their members.
