The Other America: Jews and the Canadian Experience

Abstract

This session will focus on the experience of Canadian Jews, both immigrants to the country and those born in the country post 1950. In a multi-disciplinary approach, the panel will look at the art of Vera Frenkel, the literature of Nancy Richler and David Bezmogsis and the television series Yid Life.
