Barry Cooper's Consciousness and Politics: From Analysis to Meditation in the Late Works of Eric Voegelin is the culmination of the author's lifelong engagement with Voegelin's thought. The book considers the middle to late phase of Voegelin's œuvre with special attention to the question of the historicity of truth, philosophy of consciousness and of history. Each of the panel participants are themselves scholars of Voegelin's thought. This panel is a consideration of arguably the most important work on Voegelin in the last 20 years.
