Session Submission Type: Poster Session
This poster session offers on-the-ground perspectives of the politics of activism, identity, and the informal economy. Visitors to this session will be given inside views of the activist organization Denver Food Vision, taken through the multisensory experiences and intersectional micropolitics of Occupy Wall Street and the Women’s March, and transported to the streets of Kolkata, India, where they will witness the neoliberal state’s heavy-handed regulation of street vendors.
