As political and economic pressures grow on Indigenous populations around the world, the response of native populations has included legal challenges and transnational cooperation as well as domestic and international advocacy. Using examples from North America, Asia, and Latin America, this panel explores the challenges that Indigenous groups face in seeking and exercising representation and recognition in domestic and international policy settings.
