Session Submission Type: Created Panel
This age of vast economic inequality has focused attention on wealthy donors - both individual and institutional. There is a vigorous debate over whether, on balance, these donors play a positive or negative role in society. This panel advances the discussion by exploring how foundations and other donors influence the agendas and performance of civil society organizations. The papers touch on school reform, democracy promotion, civic engagement, and public health crises.
