This panel brings together a number of global perspectives on LGBT+ visibility and tolerance. Two of the papers focus on pride events/marches, investigating their origins and the impacts they might have on creating greater tolerance for LGBT+ rights. Several papers examine evolving trajectories of attitudinal changes in a number of different contexts. Cases examined here include: Kenya, Taiwan, and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
