Session Description

This roundtable highlights best practices and lessons learned about teaching research methodology based on the forthcoming edited volumes, Teaching Undergraduate Political Methodology and Teaching Graduate Political Methodology. The editors, along with some selected authors, discuss some of the themes that arise across the chapters in the book, each of which begin with general and conceptual advice about approaching political methodology in specific areas, followed by specific recommendations about the how and when of teaching political methodology. Presentations are grounded in an evidence base using systematic science of teaching and learning (SoTL) techniques to support the recommendations given by the authors.
