Central banks are charged with implementing monetary policy. Aside from monetary policy, their objectives may also include maintaining their independence or alternatively granting political favors, moderating regional disputes (for example in the Eurozone), implementing banking and financial sector regulation, or dealing with climate change. This panel will assess these competing objectives of central bankers.
