This panel investigates how questions about and critical inquiry of surveillance systems intersects with the politics of security operations. The surveillance and security regimes we all live under are increasingly international and networked. These papers all interrogate how surveillance and security policies are enacted and interpreted in a transnational context, among nations that share borders, transnational regional similarities, or political priorities.
