Thu, September 30, 10:00 to 11:30am PDT (10:00 to 11:30am PDT), TBA

Session Submission Type: Virtual Roundtable

Session Description

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges in every facet of life. And, for many women, the toll of navigating the pandemic across spheres - both personal and professional - has been especially great. In this panel, we will shed light on the many ways in which the pandemic has affected women's careers in political science, with attention to layered inequities by race, income, and age, as well as disparities by phase of career, institution type, and professional roles. We will identify best practices and strategies for individuals and institutions to address the potentially negative short and long-term effects of this crisis on career stability, advancement, and overall well-being.
