Building Community beyond the Classroom: New Paths to Improved Outcomes

Session Description

To overcome isolation and integrate students into campus communities, Universities have launched programs focused on social connectivity. What is the state of research on the effects of building social community on student experience, enrollment, and graduation? We are in the early phases of brainstorming ways to measure social connectivity within and beyond the classroom. We are interested to see how reimagining the Political Science community outside the classroom helps departments serve their students, meet their goals, and promote success.
