2022 ARCE Annual Meeting

Time: April 22-24

Irvine, California

ARCE ANNUAL MEETING CALL FOR PAPERS: 10/20/21-1/7/22

ARCE is pleased to announce that the Call for Papers is now open for our 2022 Annual Meeting. The 2022 Annual Meeting will take place in person at the Irvine Marriott Hotel from April 22-24, 2022, from approximately 08:30 AM US PT to 5:00 PM US PT Friday and Saturday, and 08:30 AM US PT to 13:15 US PT on Sunday. A hybrid virtual experience will also be provided for those presenters or participants who cannot attend in person. On the submission platform, presenters will be able to choose between presenting in person or virtually. Those interested in presenting virtually must send their recorded presentations a month in advance of the conference dates. Proof of vaccination is required for presenting and attending all of the in-person sessions.

ARCE will of course be following local COVID-related guidelines in place at the time and adding requirements for vaccination cards or negative COVID-tests, masking inside, distancing, etc. in order to do our best to help keep everyone safe. We promise to stay engaged and actively utilize the safest protocols available at the time of our Annual Meeting, and so will our vendors.

ARCE members who wish to present at the 2022 Annual Meeting should submit abstracts to the review committee on the All Academic platform (https://convention2.allacademic.com/one/arce/arce22/) no later than January 7, 2022. Speakers will have the option of choosing to speak in person at the conference venue or to provide a recorded presentation a month in advance.

Submissions for Posters, Best Student Paper and Best Student Poster Competitions will only be accepted for the in-person presentations. Please carefully review the submission guidelines and judging process, located at https://www.arce.org/best-student-paper-and-poster-competition.

Abstracts should provide a brief overview of the topic, clearly state the research goals and note the impact of the work in the relevant area of study. (Results should be relayed during the presentation itself - as appropriate - not necessarily in the abstract.) In order to preserve the blind review component, text of abstracts should not include personally identifiable information. A double-blind vetting process will be employed. Neither reviewers nor submitters will be informed of one another’s identities.
