About Annual Meeting
Using the Add Health database (Waves I and IV), I examine parent relationships with their children with and without learning disabilities, and how those relationships affect future educational outcomes. Specifically, this paper focuses on reported relationships between parents and adolescents with learning disabilities who have not received special education services and those who have received special education services, compared to their neuro-typical peers. The primary outcome variable is highest level of education reported by individuals in the fourth wave of data collection.
