Abstract
Since some time back there has been an effort among economic sociologists to include the role of law and regulations in economic sociological analyses, a tendency that is sometimes referred to as “the economic sociology of law and regulation”. The papers chosen for this session address both recent legislation that is directed at economic life, such as finance, and the historical formation and emergence of economic legislation, such as property rights.
