Description

There are numerous ways in which sociology courses can encourage students to work for social change. Courses might include experiential or service learning, involve more extensive internship opportunities, require community-based research, or foster other forms of public or applied sociology. This session is devoted to papers that discuss one or more approaches to engaging students in their communities and to promoting meaningful social change.
