Description
Often it seems that 'space and place' comes to mean 'urban space' or even simply 'neighborhoods,' each of these papers examines space and place across the urban-rural axis, whether suburbs, small towns, or rural spaces. In doing so, they help question how space and place have been shaped by predominantly big city and metro normative assumptions and reveal new consequences of space and place by including areas outside of the dominant urban space framework.
