Session Submission Type: Paper Session (90 minute)
This panel, co-sponsored by the Inequalities, Poverty, and Mobility (IPM) section and the Organizations, Occupations, and Work (OOW) section, invites papers that reexamine the role of organizations as engines of inequality in changing labor markets. How do firms and workplaces shape access to resources, opportunities, and rewards? We welcome studies that connect organizational dynamics to broader shifts in employment systems, welfare institutions, and patterns of inequality across societies.
