Description

This session is open to all submissions in the area of Computational Social Science, including Data Science (e.g., machine learning and natural language processing), network science, simulation, agent-based modeling, and Big Data Analysis (e.g., large-scale demographic, registry, or digital trace data). Papers may also focus on the use of computational social science methods for various substantive goals, including understanding complex social problems such as political polarization, inequality, climate change, and public health. Additionally, papers may apply computational methods to predict social trends or study large-scale knowledge and information systems.
