Critics respond to Lukes’s new book, in which he distinguishes between philosophers’ commitment to one morality and social scientists’ comfort with multiple moralities. In his book, Lukes asks how “the diversity of morals” ought to be understood both sociologically and philosophically, and in this panel, critics ask the same about his book.
