Join us for a chance to connect in-person with the members of Sociologists Working Everywhere. SWE exists to highlight all of the amazing sociology that takes place outside of traditional tenure-track academic settings. We encourage students interested in applied careers and sociologists working in diverse settings to join this session to connect with other like-minded scholars. This session is modeled after our virtual social hours, but instead happens in-person! We provide prompts and icebreakers to get conversation started. We will shuffle the small groups after about 15 minutes to give everyone a chance to meet multiple people. You'll also get a chance to hear about SWE's resources, join our newsletter, and hear about upcoming events beyond the annual meeting. Light refreshments will be provided.
