Memorial Session in Honor of Dwanna L. McKay

Description

In memory of Dr. Dwanna L. McKay, this memorial will honour her groundbreaking research on social inequality, race, and Indigenous identity, which also furthered our understanding of the implications of critical race theory and settler-colonialism on our social worlds. The invited speakers will speak Dr. McKay’s far reaching contributions to both our academic knowledge and the lives of her students, mentees, and community members. Audience members are welcome to share their memories and reflections on this trailblazing scholar.
