In this paper I will expound on methods of teaching various concepts in mathematics from Arithmetic through Calculus that coincide perfectly with the teachings and philosophies of Malcolm X. This practice is one of the elements of Histematics, a teaching methodology that serves to use history as a means of teaching mathematics and vice versa. One of the proposed larger outcomes of this teaching approach is that youth that ultimately enter into STEM disciplines will be equally well-versed in their history and as such will be able to allow this historical awareness to inform their activity within these fields and life in general. If possible I will also demonstrate for audience participants how the teachings of Malcolm X could accompany these math lessons to reinforce conceptual understanding of the math topics at hand in an actual classroom setting.
