Previous research has compared the mean levels of antisocial attitudes between mentally disordered offenders and non-mentally disordered offenders. However, one assumption of a mean level comparison is that the measurement of the construct (antisocial attitudes) is the same for both groups; thus differences in antisocial attitudes is a difference in the phenomenon, not a difference in measurement characteristics. This poster tests that assumption and assesses whether the presentation of antisocial attitudes varies by mental health diagnosis.
