Respondents were gathered employing a convenience sample from across several states. Respondents were asked to define their race and ethnicity. The focus of this study revolves around a single broad based, open ended question that allowed the respondents to provide unique answers. Preliminary results suggest themes relating to anger towards those in the majority, comedic relief of situations, and clarification of racial/ethnic classification.
