Dual Diagnosis and Drug Court Recidivism

Thu, Nov 17, 2:00 to 3:20pm, Hilton, Grand Salon 12, 1st Level

Abstract

There is limited research investigating the relationship between dual diagnosis and offender outcomes in drug court settings. The current study utilized data from an urban drug court in the Southwest. Analyses were employed in order to assess whether having a dual diagnosis predicted offender recidivism. Further, the data were stratified in order to investigate predictors of recidivism specific to dually diagnosed offenders.
