Measuring Intimate Partner and Dating Violence: Is the CTS a Valid Measure?

Abstract

This presentation discusses the results from a mixed-methods approach to examining whether the Conflict Tactics Scale is an adequate measure of Intimate Partner and Dating Violence. The results quantify the degree to which measurement problems were found. Potential solutions will be discussed.
