Abstract

This research examines the mediating effects of perceived organizational support between perceptions of organizational fairness and police officers’ retaliatory work behaviors. Data was collected utilizing an online self-reported survey distributed to a police officer association representing sworn officers (n= 1,831) from agencies across a southern state in the United States of America. Results, discussion of findings, and policy implications will be presented. These research should be of particular interest to those interested in police retaliatory work behaviors and policing.
