Attitudes toward the Police, Immigration and Terrorism by Race/Ethnicity

Abstract

This study examines the influence of media consumption on attitudes toward the police, immigration policies, and fear of terrorism across a sample of 500 Blacks, Latinos and Whites. The data was collected in May 2016, providing a detailed view of recent political issues related to crime and crime policy. Results find significant variation in attitudes across media forms and by race/ethnicity.
