Parenting Practices & Aggression among Prison Inmates

Abstract

Literature shows that there is a relationship between parenting styles and delinquency among youth. The main goal of the study is to measure whether an individual’s perception of his or her parents affects his or her aggression level. Schanz’s (2014) typology of four types of aggression was used to measure an individual’s aggression level. Individuals who were incarcerated in a county prion in Pennsylvania were recruited as the sample in this study.
