Abstract

As society evolves questions have emerged regarding the role of policing in society. Do citizens want police to serve as warriors or as guardians of their society? As each generational viewpoint may differ should low enforcement officers be cognizant of how they will be perceived by different generations when requested to respond to an emergent incident.
