Examining Supportive Housing for Offenders in a Rural Community

Abstract

This poster presentation is the result of a qualitative study examining the perceptions of justice involved individuals who were provided with supportive housing during re-entry. Over the course of two years, 17 justice involved individuals were interviewed about their experiences related to a supportive housing program in a rural community. A content analysis was conducted and emergent themes related to re-entry are examined and explored.
