Delivering Prison Work Programs via Correctional Industries: An Evaluation

Abstract

A process and outcome evaluation of a prison work program to identify best practices. Aimed at answering the question of how does work in the prison environment impact the experience and outcomes of participants during and after incarceration. Utilizing a mixed methods approach including inmate and staff surveys and interviews along with observations and record data in a Washington State correctional facility.
