The 21st century is called the era of ethics due to strong demand for transparency in public services. Police are prone to have more corruption in enforcing laws than other public sectors. Individual and organizational variables are main factors to explain police unethical behaviors. Research on the former variables in unethical behaviors among South Korean police officers are scant. Based on 687 surveys collected among sampled police officers, this research presents some findings of analyses. Three categories of independent variables—individual ethical ideology, superior ethical quality, organizational ethical culture—and various statistics, including SEMs, are used to measure unethical behaviors.
